Harbor Nights

On Wednesdays throughout the summer they have a festival downtown called Harbor Nights. There are lots of street vendors and booths with goods for sale. They are also the Gombeys! They are traditional dancers of Bermuda. The boys were very intrigued by them but also a little timid. Check out this video and you will see why.

However when the dancers were done, a little girl ran up to one of the men and said, "hey Papa, we are leaving," and gave him a big hug. After that the boys warmed right up with the knowledge that they are papas and dads and brothers all dressed in the fancy clothes. We even got a picture with the Papa dancer! They were so proud!
