11 months and busy!
Well I thought it was time for another update on what the boys are doing now that they're basically grown men at 11 months old. As you can see from the picture, they have become moving targets when it comes to getting their weekly pictures, and now requires two sets of hands to get anything usable!
Eli (on the left) is a fire ball. He loves to stand at our low front window to look out, but then gets "stranded" at the window sill because he is still not an expert at going from standing to crawling, but he's working on it! He l-o-v-e-s cheese. Every and any type of cheese is welcome in his book, he'll gobble it down! Eli is basically entirely self feeding, with the exception of things like yogurt and applesauce, which require a spoon. But as far as hand to mouth, he can feed himself a meal. We think he may have waved at us today, which would be a new skill for him! Eli's a great high-fiver and loves to give kisses, as long as you don't mind an open mouth! He is very interested in our black kitty and loves to laugh with his brother!
Charlie (right) is a sweet boy. He has the strongest legs in the house; he's up and down from standing to sitting/crawling hundreds of times a day, or so it seems. Charlie is very skilled at cruising around the furniture. If a boy ever loved his brother, its Charlie. A few days ago Charlie was up early from his nap, and you'd think he would be soaking up the attention from Momma and Dad, but no, he was as fussy as could be. But the moment Eli awoke from his nap Charlie was beaming at the sight of his brother. Talk about melting my heart! Charlie is also a self feeder and loves fruit. Both boys really enjoy drinking out of an open unlidded glass, talk about fun. Charlie can also high-five and can imitate a clicking noise with his tounge. We sound like a primitive tribe around our home, everyone clicking and crawling around!
We are so blessed by our two boys! Every day I wonder what made me so lucky to get these two joys!
